As you may have guessed, the site may close down from next month due to a shortage of funds.
For the past 4-5 years, the AniDL Community has grown to be a large community, and with such a big community comes hefty expenses to run and manage the site. So till now, we have been dependent on donations & ads, but for the past few months, our ad services have been paying half of what we usually get. This made us basically dependent entirely on donations, but now even that has stopped completely. So we can’t keep up the site on our own expenses.
For the past 2 months, I have been paying for the server from my own pocket but as I am jobless and don’t have any source to earn money, I can’t keep using my savings to pay for the site expenses.
So in short, if we don’t receive enough donations by the end of this month, we will stop updating the site. The site will be alive for a few more months but we won’t update any seasonal anime or fix any broken links.
